Three Figures
This painting is a fusion of Dutch and Ukrainian artistry, blending oil on canvas with felted textures. It began with Barro’s search for a creative space in Amsterdam, leading him to an artist printing elephants. He layered his own vision - painting a figure of Buddha on top, then adding more figures. The composition organically evolved into figurative expressionism painting, with Ukrainian artist Olga completing it using her felting techniques, giving the piece a unique dimensional depth. The result is a dialogue of cultures, where textures and forms intertwine, exploring themes of spirituality, transformation, and artistic collaboration.
